Sydney Stokes is a registered psychologist based in Tweed Heads where she provides compassionate, evidence-based support for mental health and wellbeing. With a background in both clinical practice and management, she combines strong therapeutic skills with a broad understanding of how wellbeing is shaped across different areas of life, including work and relationships. Over more than eight years of practice she has gained experience in clinical therapy, psychometric assessment, program development, and supervision. Her approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on CBT, ACT, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She is neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQI2S+ inclusive, and places strong emphasis on adapting therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.

Sydney’s style is warm, genuine, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that effective therapy begins with a safe and authentic relationship. She supports individuals not only in strengthening their mental health but also in building resilience, confidence, and sustainable strategies for long-term recovery; including those managing the impact of workplace injury or stress. With experience across trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, body image, and life transitions, Sydney provides a space where clients can feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
