Am I eligible for psychological services under WorkCover Queensland?
If you have submitted a claim through WorkCover Queensland and have a claim number, you are likley eligible for support. This applies whether your claim is approved or still under assessment.

Can I only see a psychologist if I have a psychological injury?
No, psychological support is available regardless of injury type.   

How much does it cost to see a psychologist through WorkCover QLD?
There is no out of pocket cost to see one of our psychologists through WorkCover QLD. The full consult fee is covered by WorkCover, assuming you are eligible (see above).

How many sessions will I receive?
Each claim (even under assessment) has 6 sessions with a psychologist pre-approved. The psychologist will need to request further support if needed beyond the initial 6 sessions.
